COMPUTER LAB

Learn a few new computer skills together! The below resources help teach kids (and adults) key concepts while using fun, interactive methods to hold their attention and make learning more entertaining.

CODE COMBAT

This interactive online game teaches kids the basics of coding using a variety of different computer languages. Share your screens to play at the same time, unlocking additional levels as you go! You can easily play without creating an account, but if you want to save your progress, you’ll need to sign up (for free).

SCRATCH

Another online coding site, Scratch allows kids to create simple animations, stories, and games. Watch a tutorial or two if you’ve never used it before, then click “Create” to get started!

Use the drag-and-drop tool to add simple animations to the characters, then watch them move and interact together while sharing your Zoom screens.
