On February 26th we challenge all of Northern BC to wear pink, promote kindness, and stand together in the fight against bullying.
Being kind is a small act that can make a big difference in someone’s day, week and life. Be the change you needed when you were younger and help ignite the power and potential of a young person.

All money raised from the selling of shirts and pink items will be used to support our youth and mentoring programs that serve children in Prince George and Northern BC. These programs take many forms from 1:1 at school, in the community, or in a virtual setting as well as skill based group programs.
Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 in Nova Scotia after a group of youth saw that a grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. They wanted to do something to show that this behaviour was not ok and distributed pink shirts to all the boys in the school to wear the next day . Inspired by this act of kindness businesses in the area started raising funds for anti-bullying programs and has snowballed into what it is today.
WEAR PINK (or try our BLACK and PINK mix) on February 26th and encourage your friends and family to do the same. Support your local youth programs by participating in their fundraising efforts.
Pink items will be for sale all over Prince George on Wed, Feb 26th. All or a portion of each sale will be donated as part of the campaign.

Paint you Pet NIghts!
Open Door Cafe will be holding a Paint your Pet night on the 25th and 26th of February and donating half of the proceeds to BIGSNBC programs. Get your tickets at the open door cafe or on their app!
