Frequently Asked Questions

+ Who can run the Mega Bounce Run?

This is a run for anyone who wants to get outside and jump on giant inflatables! Participants under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be at least 42" tall.

+ How long is the course?

The course is approximately 3km long.

+ How can I complete the course?

This is totally up to you! Feel free to run or walk depending on your comfort level.

+ If this a timed event?

No, this is solely for fun. That doesn't mean you can't race against your friends or family for the glory though!

+ Can I do the obstacles more than once?

Yes! All participants have the option to complete the course twice. While running if you find an obstacle you totally love, we don't mind if you turn around and go again. Same goes it you see one you don't want to attempt, feel free to move on to the next.

+ Are vaccines required to participate?

In accordance to the current BC Public Health Orders, vaccines are not required to attend outdoor events.

+ How does this event protect against the spread of COVID-19?

We will be in accordance with all BC Public Health Orders at the time of the event. Hand sanitizer will be found throughout the course and all high touch point areas will be sanitized regularly. Currently, masks are required to be worn by all participants, volunteers, and event staff in the registration, starting line, and BBQ areas. An email will be sent to all participants closer to the event with any updates or changes to the COVID-19 Safety Plan.

+ What happens if the event is cancelled?

Refunds will be offered to participants.

+ Can I dress up?

Yes! We love to see participants and teams dress for the occasion. Just remember to wear good shoes.

+ How will I know where to go?

The course will be marked and volunteers will be around every step of the way to help.

+ Why do I need to sign a liability waiver?

Giant inflatables, while very fun to jump on may cause you minor to major injury. All participants must understand the risks of the event and are participating at their own risk. You can view and sign the wavier here

+ What if I get hurt?

Most common injuries include twisted and sprained ankles, and bumps and bruises. First Aid will be on site to assist participant in the event of injury.

+ Will there be food at the event?

Yes! BigsNBC will be hosting a BBQ during the event.

+ Will I get anything for participating?

Yes! Each participant will be awarded a medal upon crossing the finish line.

+ Can I bring my pet?

No, unfortunately there are no furry friends allowed on the course.

+ How does the money support BigsNBC?

All money raised helps us continue and expand on existing mentoring programs that serve children and youth in Prince George. You can learn more about the programs we offer here.
