Week 2 of Connect: Paint It!

We had another fun-filled week at Connect: Paint It! This week we had some fun with a splatter paint activity and sign decorating.

We first started off with the splatter paint activity, which the kids really seemed to love. Everyone was given watercolours, straws, paper, and some goofy face decals/googly eyes. The objective was to drop some watercolours on their paper and then blow it around using a straw. This created a splatter effect, as well as abstract shapes & pictures! After it was dry, the kids got to give their splatter blobs a little personality by adding googly eyes and facial expressions.

After the splatter painting, the kids got to personalize and decorate a sign for their room, house, or garden. Everyone's sign turned out super unique and the kids enjoyed making it their own. It was so cool to see how everyone’s sign reflected their personalities.
